Recognizing the need for a space where children could explore, create, and learn through play, we set out to build the first museum of its kind in Southern Italy—and reimagine what a children’s museum could be from the ground up. What began as a personal mission grew into a professionally designed space, developed with experts in education, technology, and interactive learning. Today, it stands as a vibrant hub where families come together to discover, engage, and grow.
At the Museo dei Bambini, we believe in shaping the future through the power of play. Our space is designed to nurture three lifelong skills: curiosity, resilience, and teamwork. Through independent exploration, children develop a love for learning. By embracing mistakes, they gain adaptability and confidence. And by working together, they foster leadership and empathy—essential for success in any endeavor.
With over 20 years of experience in Silicon Valley, our team has worked with institutions like Singularity University, Google X, IDEO, NASA, and SpaceX. We’ve designed immersive experiences for global events, including Mobile World Congress, SXSW, DEMO, and GMIC. In collaboration with leading children’s museums across Europe and the U.S., we bring expertise in AI, robotics, cognitive science, and interactive media to Lecce, creating a world-class learning environment where children engage with cutting-edge ideas through play.
The Museo dei Bambini is a space where families and children come together to learn, play, and grow. Our exhibits encourage meaningful interactions—not only strengthening bonds between parents, grandparents, and siblings but also fostering new friendships and collaboration among children. In an increasingly digital world, we offer a place to unplug, connect, and engage in hands-on exploration.
I personally invite you to explore Museo dei Bambini and experience firsthand the convergence of technology, education, and imagination. Whether you are a family eager to inspire young minds or a forward-thinking organization invested in the future of learning, we welcome you to join us on this journey.
With Warm Regards,
Crina Bordas
